911 Operators play a crucial role in informing public safety response to individuals impacted by behavioral health. This 8 hr. program is designed to provide dispatch with an overview of the goals of CIT and the critical role that dispatchers play in supporting residents as well as public safety.

CIT Recertification is a one day, eight hour training that reviews the foundational principles covered in CIT. Officers who completed CIT training three or more years ago and are seeking to maintain their CIT Certification can attend our one day CIT Recertification training.

Psychological First Aid - APRIL 2025 - OPEN

Psychological First Aid (PFA) is based on the evidence informed principles of safety, calming, connectedness, hope and self/community efficacy. Participants will learn to assist individuals to reduce distress after a potentially traumatic event. PFA is culturally informed and appropriate for all.

The Stalking Prevention, Awareness and Resource Center (SPARC) is a federally funded project that provides education and resources about the crime of stalking. SPARC aims to enhance the response to stalking by educating the professionals tasked with keeping stalking victims safe and holding offenders accountable. Law Enforcement Officers, Detective, Clinicians, Victim’s Advocates, and Prosecutors are all welcome to enroll to gain specialized knowledge to identify and respond to the crime of stalking.
FIRST RESPONDER AUTISM TRAINING - APRIL 2026 - ANDOVER - OPEN

Developed in partnership with leaders in law enforcement and the mental health field—including retired Waltham Police Officer Charles “Chuck” DiChiara, Linda Kokoros, and Jay Bailey of Hope Beyond the Badge—this training reinforces the importance of wellness and resilience throughout the department.

Metro Boston CIT-TTAC is fortunate to partner with Kevin Lambert for this specialized training aimed at enhancing first responders’ understanding of Moral Injury and the healing process. This training also provides Question, Persuade, and Refer (QPR) Gatekeeper three-step prevention and intervention certification. Lastly, participants are equipped with strategies to support colleagues who may be at risk of suicide.
